BERLIN – On Sunday, a police operation resulted in the arrest of a group of people who publicly handled toy guns in the city of Trier in the south of Germany. The DPA agency informed about this on Monday.
Witnesses called the police after what they saw, he is already manipulating several people “with an object similar to a firearm collected”. The incident happened on Sunday afternoon at one of the gas stations in Trier. When the police arrived on the scene, they found out that it was a toy gun.

However, the police subsequently strongly recommended that people avoid using firearms in public “in any case, it’s about toys; especially with regard to the upcoming carnival celebrations” in Germany. It cannot be ruled out that the toy or replica will be considered a real weapon, which can lead to a larger police operation, writes DPA.
