FRANKFURT – The second phase of ticketing for next year’s football EURO in Germany starts on December 4, two days after the draw for the group stage.
Nemecký futbalový zväz informed about it on Monday. A million tickets will be available for fans of the teams that qualify for the championship by that date. The third phase will be held in the future for the fans of the last three countries that progressed through the play offs.
During the first phase, 1.2 million tickets were handed out in the lottery, which received up to 20 million requests. The price of tickets ranges from 30 to 1000 euros. The championship will be held from June 14 to July 14 in several German cities and 24 teams will compete for the title.
Slovenian football players who advanced from the second place of the J-group will not be absent from the championship. At the same time, they secured a place in the third performance basket before the draw. This Sunday’s triumph was 2:1 against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final match of the qualifiers.
Until Monday, Germany, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Holland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey have also qualified.
