At the D1 highway in the section between Sencom and Blatný, near 28.5 km of the highway, a dangerous substance leaked. Therefore, they were closed both ways. Bratislavská krajská polícia informed about this on the social network. Úsek was again too busy after 5 p.m.

“Shortly before 3:30 p.m., we received information on the damage to the biogas station on line 158. As a result, a highly toxic chemical was leaked,” the police said.

The city of Senec reported on the social network that already at the biogas station on the way to Svätý Martin, the tank probably cracked, from which the liquid poured out. “The city informed the relevant institutions a úrady. The situation is being solved by firefighters and Okresný úrad Senec is taking further steps,” asked Samospráva.

She added that no one was injured in the incident.
